Winter is right around the corner, and some people know this season to be called "cuffing season". Meaning, when it starts to warm up again, and those girls got on their mini skirts and coochie cutters; and the guys have their shirts off playing basketball, cuffing season is no longer in existence. So, can someone tell me the difference between a cut buddy and a boo? Is there a difference at all? What happened to the word MONOGAMY. That word is probably a foreign language to most. Do you know what monogamy means? Leave feedback. I would love to get your opinion and comments on this subject...

They are both people that you just "kick it" with when you feel that moment of wanting to get busy or let off a little sensual feeling without all the emotions involved. You can call your cut buddy and your boo at any given time and any given hour of the day and they will oblige you with your need and request.
ReplyDeleteNow, the question is, is there any monogamy with a cut buddy or boo? Can you be in a relationship with someone that you consider a "potential boyfriend or girlfriend" but you are still in the "dating status" of your relationship with them, and have a cut buddy or boo on the side? You know what I'm talking about. The person that you can let off your sensual frustrations with because you have not and don't want to cross the line just yet with your potential "boy or girlfriend."
Now that's a mouth full. We all have someone that we have our hearts and minds set on to be in a relationship with, but we have not made it official. So to keep us from taking it there, we USE our cut buddy or boo to work off those desires and wants until we are sure this is who I want to spend my time with permanently.
Now, what happens to the cut buddy/boo when you tell them I am moving on? Ah ha, you didn't think about that. Did you?
Honestly, in my opinion, there is no difference because either way they both are having sexual relations with someone without a title and without committment. A boo may get a little day time attention in while a cut buddy is specifically a phone call after 10pm. Now, if yur claiming someone to be your boo, and your f*ckin them, you are in denial of the fact that you are really givinng your milk away for free. These names, "cut buddy" and "boo" are just a play on words to make the other feel that eventually "we will be together" when in reality, y'all just beneficial friends. Now that yu know this, will yu still continue to mess around with that boo you have?
ReplyDeleteI agree with the above posts that there is not really a material difference between a cut buddy and a boo because there are no grounds of a true commitment. Marriage is the only thing that holds all the weight of being a true commitment. However I will say this...
ReplyDeleteThe terms of "cut buddy" and "boo" is just a mere play of words that one would use to appeal to the other party depending on the type of person they are. The term boo can be used for someone that the person is truly interested in and whatever situations come up, they will just go with the flow. The title boo will give more of a monogamous impression if sex does come into the picture.
The term cut buddy is more straight up and down no strings attached physical activity. You do not send cut buddy good morning texts on occasion or offer a dinner and a movie. Also, it is not a requirement to call and check on a cut buddy to see how their day was. The terms have been set and agreed upon by both parties and is nothing more, nothing less from the go.
All in all, you can't do "Boo" stuff with someone that is a cut buddy. There will also be more backlash if one would stray away abruptly with a boo as opposed to quitting something with a cut buddy because they already know the deal (allegedly). Even in the mist of all this, when sex is involved (especially if the sex is great) there is a potential that emotional ties may develop from both "boo's" and "cut buddys". It is expected to happen amongst boo's, and is acceptable. BUT when it happens to a cut buddy who wants to restructure the prior agreement, you face the same problems and consequences that one would have if you abruptly left a boo. But that may be up for another discussion on how sex complicates things.
These comments are intense, but honestly from what I hear monogamy doesn't even exist in marriages anymore which hurts my heart because it leaves nothing to look forward to.

In my opinion dude aspect: if shes not my girlfriend theres no emotions and we're just fucking... But I'm not a man so feel free to give me a males perspective
A Cut buddy is someone you call just to have sex no cuddling, kissing, or hicky's. It's just I need that and be done!!!
ReplyDeleteA Boo is Someone whose already in a complicated relationship or single but they become some form of companionship when you'll together! They keep the lonely nights from getting cold and you'll share some type of emotion and feeling only when your together!
Cut buddy is just what it is! You hit it and cut up out of there. Your Boo is just someone you sleep and they sleep with everybody else and the reason you call them Boo or vice verse is, you dont want to forget there name or call them someone else name.Get married and be done with it. SPEAK!!! IM OUT!!!!
